Having grown up a Londoner, Reece felt compelled to create a piece of work out of the process he underwent working with young people in his community, amidst the harrowing rates of increasing knife crime. In which, Reece attempted to use the only world he knows; Theatre Making, as a means for youth empowerment. The documentation of this process is what you will see presented, with Reece’s initial objective merely being to bring Theatre Making and all its transformational, inspiring, positive qualities to, in some cases, disadvantaged teens.
