The Animation Courtyard in the Animation Building at Disney's California Adventure is an attraction open to regular park guests. It normally features a number of large format projection screens displaying slides and film clips, choreographed to a musical montage, from Disney animated films. There are also lighting cues that run concurrently with the audio and video. The venue is also available to be rented as a special event space during non-operating hours. These are generally smaller events that are either plated dinners or tray-passed receptions. So that the events do not negatively affect the daily operation of the attraction, a second lighting system was added to the attraction specifically to serve events. That system includes 24 ETC Source 4 ERS' and an assortment of gobos. Control is achieved through ETC's Unison system allowing events to select from a number of pre-programmed looks through an LCD touch-panel.
