Northern Light has recently announced another two appointments that will enhance the company’s installation team.
Martin Tarpy comes to Northern Light from leading installer TMC, where he had worked for more than twenty years. Martin will be a project manager for Northern Light and will be involved in the design and installation of lighting, sound, AV, media and stage systems across a range of Northern Light projects – beginning with a raft of schools in the Birmingham area.
Martin said: "After twenty years of working with TMC, I’m sure working anywhere else will be a shock to the system! However, I’m very much looking forward to the new challenge and to bringing my skills to Northern Light. It is a company that I’ve been very much aware of throughout my career and it is with a sense of excitement that I join the much bigger operation that is Northern Light."
James Howson also comes to Northern Light from TMC and will take on the role of project engineer for Yorkshire, Humberside and surrounding areas. James has worked in audio engineering since 2005 and brings with him experience of installations in schools, theatres, casinos and night clubs.
James commented: "I’m thrilled to join the Northern Light team and really looking forward to starting work on the planned, and future, installations in my local area. Audio systems are my specialism, so it’s great to work with a company that designs and installs the full range of entertainment technology systems."
Colin Cuthbert, managing director, concluded: "I’m very pleased to welcome Martin and James to Northern Light. Both will be valuable members of our team and their appointments couldn’t have come at a better time, as we head into what promises to be our busiest summer ever for installation projects."
