After its huge success at both ProLight + Sound and PLASA Focus shows, ETC is getting ready to show the new Source Four LED at this year’s ABTT Show.
The fixture joins a host of other new and updated ETC products on the stand, as the show moves to London’s Old Truman Brewery.
The ETC Source Four LED is available in three versions: Lustr+, daylight and tungsten. Just like the Selador Desire Lustr+, the Source Four LED Lustr+ offers a complete palette of colours, thanks to the Selador x7 Color System. Meanwhile, Source Four LED tungsten and daylight produce maximum brightness at the respective warm (3000K) and cool white (5600K) colour temperatures. Each offers the same projection-quality beam.
Mark White, ETC’s regional manager for UK and Ireland, says: “In addition to the demonstrations we’ve held at trade shows, we also took part in Black Light’s open day in Edinburgh last month. By comparing Source Four LED side by side with incandescent, it became apparent to people how well they all fit together, both in terms of colour performance and dimming curve.
“I keep seeing genuine astonishment on people's faces – ‘An LED fixture does that?!’ We put a glass gobo in at sharp focus and dim up and down, and see if they can tell the difference.”
Control desks
Also on the stand will be a range of ETC’s control desks, including the recently launched Gio, which offers the power of Eos functionality but in a smaller footprint. The desk features backlit buttons, two integral, articulating multi-touch displays and supports up to three external displays, all of which can also be multi-touch.
Gio can integrate into an Eos or Ion system with ease, acting as a primary, backup or client desk in combination with the rest of the family. All of the accessories available for Eos and Ion work with Gio as well.
Sensor3
The new Sensor3 Power Control System will also be on show, offering high-speed, plug-and-play networking. The system was designed to meet the changing needs of venues, with the triple function ThruPower module giving a choice of local override or standard control for each circuit. When the switch on the front of the module is in the On position, power is connected directly from the circuit breaker to the output without passing through the dimmer or toroid filter (choke), which prevents the control system from turning off the output voltage – even if the control module is removed from the system. While in the Dim position, the system controls operation of the module using either the true air/gap relay or the SCR dimmer.
Please visit ETC’s stand to get the low down on all the latest ETC products and services as well as a refreshing glass of Pimms and lemonade.
