Sandy McAlister

Sandy’s involvement in the Arts began at an early age where he developed a love for theatre lighting. Sandy went onto study at Derby University, graduating with a degree in Technical Theatre, focusing on Lighting Design.

Specialising in theatre lighting Sandy has been responsible for numerous Lighting Designs some of which include the World Premieres of “Distortion” (The MAC Belfast) “The Same Sky” (Open Road Productions); “Silver Darling” (Open Road Productions); “Twisted the Musical” (Theatre at the Mill) and the Irish Premiere of “In the Heights” (Ravara Productions)

As well as being a Lighting Designer Sandy is also highly skilled in Programming ETC Eos Family Consoles and has worked as a programmer throughout the UK and Ireland.
