Caitlin Clarke
Biography
Caitlin is an up-and-coming northern based lighting designer.
After training at the University of Hull she became a full-time technician at Hull Truck Theatre. Since then she has developed in all areas of theatre lighting including: programming, associating, production electrics and design.
Some of her notable design work includes; Wizard of Oz Middle Child 2025, Faustus From Below 2025, Biting Point Middle Child 2025 Treasure Island Middle Child 2024, Rapunzel Hull Truck 2024, Sense and Sustainability Hull Truck 2024, Princess and the Frog Hull Truck 2023, Dante From Below 2023, Hullovision Hull Truck 2023, Tortoise and the Hare Hull Truck/Birmingham Rep 2023 and A Great Christmas Adventure Hull Truck 2021. Caitlin has also programmed lighting for; Di and Viv and Rose (Associate Design and Programme) Theatre by the Lake/ Queens Theatre Hornchurch 2025, Making Moves Sadlers Wells East London 2025, Mary and the Hyenas (Associate Design and Programme) Hull Truck/Pilot Theatre 2025, Guts! The Musical Hull Truck 2024, Pop Music Hull Truck 2023, Mumsy Hull Truck 2023, Ladies Unleashed Hull Truck 2022 and A Midsummer Night’s Dream Hull Truck 2022.
On her departure of Hull Truck Theatre she now seeks out exciting and engaging collaborations in theatre, musicals and dance anywhere in the world.
